Welcome to the Payene family... [20 Oct 2009|11:21pm]
Since the moment that Warner Michael Payene was conceived nothing has been his own. Even the time spent in his mother's womb was shared by another, his twin sister Ellsa. If you were to walk up to Warner and ask if he minded, he would say no! Absolutely not, but there might be a hint of "maybe" in his eyes if you looked just close enough. He's been told his entire life that it's no fun to be an only child, and he would never really want to be one, but he's also never known what it's like to be the center of attention. He never got the opportunity to be the baby. No, even at birth he was just a few minutes before Ellsa, and as such, she was the little princess. Five short years later his already large family was blessed with another, and the baby always wins out.

He never complains, always approaches situations with a smile. He would hate the term if you pinned it on him, but he's become somewhat of a martyr just by the nature of his personality mixed with that of his twin sister. Ellsa is a wild child, free almost to a fault, but he can do nothing but absolutely love her. He is her accomplice, her partner in crime, her defender and the one to back up all of her crazy antics and plans. And yet? He's the one to bring her back down to earth when she goes crazy. He's the one to tell her she's absolutely insane and smack her upside the head when she's gone too far. He defends her when he thinks someone has hurt her, or taken advantage of her. Almost to a fault, poor Warner has gotten many a black eye or punched gut over trying to take care of his sister.

He's much more of a lover than a fighter, and would rather spend his days writing poetry and short stories. After all, during his time at Penn State his major was creative writing. But sometimes that's not able to be what he does. He is currently substitute teaching at a local grammar school and hopes to get a job at a high school next year. He's lovable, but has a serious chivalry complex. You didn't want someone to open your door? Already been done. Did you need someone to carry your books? They're probably already in his hand. Honor and gentlemanly behavior is the name of the game for him.
